Meet Charlie Taschen

Drawing on a lifelong appreciation for design and architecture, Charlie Taschen brings to the team a distinctive perspective shaped by her background in the arts, international client relations, and architectural real estate. 

Restoring her first home, a modern post-and-beam residence in LA’s Baldwin Vista neighborhood designed by Chinese-American architect Miller Fong, broadened her understanding and passion for architectural homes and continues to shape the refined design sensibility she brings to her work. 

Before transitioning into real estate in 2021, Charlie expanded the brand of the international publishing house TASCHEN by opening a gallery space on Beverly Boulevard, where she served as lead curator and oversaw exhibitions, events, and gallery sales. 

Working alongside George Penner, Charlie has had the privilege of representing a number of extraordinary architectural properties, from celebrated mid-century homes to historically significant estates. She is equally passionate about helping buyers find the right home, whether they are first-time buyers, seasoned collectors, or clients searching for a one-of-a-kind architectural residence, and is dedicated to providing knowledgeable guidance, strategic representation, and an exceptional level of personal service. 

While Charlie's expertise is rooted in Los Angeles' architecturally rich neighborhoods, her experience extends throughout Southern California. Having grown up in Germany and lived and worked across Europe and the United States, Charlie understands both the expectations international clients bring with them and the realities of navigating the U.S. real estate market. Her international background and multilingual skills help her bridge those worlds for clients buying or selling in Southern California.
